I would totally watch a Japanese version of Mad Men with this episode.
The 10,000-step goal originated from a 1960s Japanese advertising campaign for the world’s first commercial pedometer
New research suggests the magic of 10,000 steps a day is a myth

This used to be a solidly Dem, rural district. The real story is the erosion from 2020 to 2024.
RESULT: Democrats easily defend a state House seat in South Carolina in a special election tonight.

Keishan Scott, the 24-year old Dem nominee, won 71% to 29%, so by 42. (Harris had carried the district by 5% last fall; Biden won it by 15% in 2020.)

I won’t be convinced that this Biden age thing is unfair until Walter Mondale weighs in.
John Kerry Defends Biden And Calls Out The Media For Piling On: Former Sec. of State John Kerry, who served as President Biden's climate envoy, defended Biden and his presidency while calling out the media for piling on.

If you spend 12-15 hours a day on a platform - any platform - then the advertisers love you.

Advertisers don’t care if no one can see YOUR content. Because the advertisers care about THEIR content.

Which you are watching.

For 12-15 hours a day.

RFK Jr.’s lies about autism are disgraceful — and I won't share them to spread misinformation.

He consistently undermines public health and reinforces dangerous myths.

In Illinois, we stand with those with autism, and I’ll keep fighting for inclusion, science, and the truth.

I’m not even mad at this hate-read, clickbait, data visualization. If anything, it doesn’t go far enough. The NYT should mine its archives and reveal its worst hot takes from every generation in history.

It would be incredibly meta to cover episodes 1-9 aa a horrible mistake in galactic history that should never be glorified or repeated.
Go 200 years into the future, ignore the utter unsalvagebale mess they made of the sequels, have a mystical small jedi order unconnected to a state apparatus, and a balkanized post-New Republic order where dictatorships are warring with democracies, all plagued by a pervasive criminal underworld.
Genuine question - if you were the new head of LucasFilm, what would you do to revitalise the Star Wars franchise?
