Never mind," he said, lay down staring straight up through the overhanging branches. "Let me rest a while and I'll compensate you for the favor." He could hardly compensate the wyvern. He heard Haar shift, and his eyes snapped in that direction. He went fully rigid under the arm that laid across him. Some impulse, that of a spooked deer to bolt, had him starting to wriggle, and for a moment Haar gripped at him.

Those hands guided his legs to spread wider, him to sink down lower, closer. Volke was warm, firm, kissed like a talented whore as he always had, but that softer caress both in his mouth and hands was unmistakable. And then there were the little low sounds he made, a feedback loop as though his own manner, or perhaps that echoed softness that Karel was goaded into reflecting, was so erotic to him. Karel was certainly responding to that, his mouth slower, a mirror of that softness. Volke had his hands slipped inside of those robes, eased them from his shoulders, and his mouth dropped to that newly-bared skin.
