I already have a contributors’ ebook, but there’s nothing better than a paperback book to cozy up with. And how lush is this! For even more tales of #scifi and #fantasy please check out the new #kickstarter for the upcoming Worldstone Publishing Winter #anthology

Fabulous to see my #artwork on the cover of the latest Drabble Harvest. The image was inspired by a visit to @highgatecemetery.bsky.social terraced catacombs… an amazing place to visit. In fact, if you get the chance to see London’s garden cemeteries, do. They’re both inspirational and sobering.

When you have zero energy ... I do love Jeremy Brett's #SherlockHolmes but you can't beat Basil Rathbone for comfort viewing ... What's your favourite adaptation? #sherlocktwt #Sherlock #221B #HolmesandWatson #sherlockian

One of the best things about going to private views and craft fairs is that you not only get to support local #artists but learn about new techniques that you simply must try. Always more to learn, right? These lovely prints from the Mostyn Gallery by Fiona Palmer mountainstudioartist(dot)co(dot)uk

Thanks to Italiks magazine for giving space to one of my artworks in their latest issue. The image is of #southstacklighthouse @rspbcymru.bsky.social @angleseyhistory.bsky.social on #Anglesey, which really is something to see, even without the fanciful aurora.

When a call came for cover & interior #art for Phantomicon: Imaginings & Images of Ghosts I knew I had to sub something But what? The piece that would be accepted, was sized to a single-page. This is the wraparound version, which I felt was too fussy to sub as a possible cover. Still like kinda it!

So pleased to have a piece of artwork in this new #shortstory collection. If you love #ghoststories, please do give Mind's Eye Publications a visit. They're a great indie publisher ... and this is sure to be prefect #Halloween #readingtime #spooky #spooks #ghosts #horroranthology

Grabbing the last of the summer with a ride into the hills. Not sure if it’s the hills up, or the terrifying descent that’s more memorable! 😂 Here’s the lovely Pensychnant Conservation Centre- the literal high point of the ride. And me red faced and leg-sore!

Took a snap in the dark with the phone camera because the shadows looked like faces.... I added the eyes, but ... 😱

Two boxes of #books arrived to sign .... how it started.... how it's going. If you backed my #sherlockholmes #kickstarter then your books will be with you soon. Hoping that the new tariffs and new postal rates don't cause too many delays. Thanks to everyone who supported it #readers #reading #books

It is! People still visit on the solstice and leave little offerings. I love the connection to place, people, and the past that these places evoke.

Finally got to visit the Bryn Celli Ddu. The name means '‘Mound in the Dark Grove’ and it combines a much older #henge circle, with a #Neolithic burial mound. Very beautiful. Very evocative. And strangely creepy! Or was it the ghosts peering over my shoulder?! #Wales #History #writersinspiration

Fabulous risograph workshop today. My idea was using the layers of the risograph to show the layers of history. Whether it’s Neolithic cave dwellers, or Welsh slate miners, we all have the urge to create art. History is art! Not sure I quite managed to get the idea, across but it was messy fun.

Did I really cycle 42 kms and climb 796 metres to see a tree? Yes. Yes I did. But it was the #Llangernyw Yew which is one of the oldest trees in the world and, at at least 4000 years old, one of the oldest living things on the planet. What a beauty! @thetreecouncil.bsky.social #WALES #trees #celtic

Exclusively on #KindleUnlimited. Jean Hill of San Fernando has a passion ghost stories and the story he relates seems like it's straight out of the pages of a Gothic novel. However with a woman’s safety at stake, Holmes has just an hour to solve the mystery of The Spectre of The Elms #ebooks #ebook
