Indeed, it was a section of hedge that is good for eggs in most years, but still surprising. Looking forward to searching elsewhere.

Sweet with a little acidity to finish - perhaps sweeter this year than usual - but always edible off the tree.

Good valley for butterflies as well - Brown hairstreak, Small pearl and Marsh fritillary all seen in recent years.

Some on a different part of the harvest site, some for a couple of local projects and probably some left over by the look of it!
