Are we reading the same book? Mine says, “Love your neighbor.” I am not seeing much of that in DC.

I got a notice this morning that my social security income would no longer be taxed because of the BUB (Big Ugly Bill). In protest, I propose that seniors consider donating the savings to nonprofits negatively impacted by the BUB and the work of DOGE. What do you think?

As I sit on the back porch on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving I am grateful again for the gift of life, grateful for the joys of life and grateful for the difficult times. It is particularly from the difficult times that I have learned much and grown much. What are you thankful for?

The fiber in our neighborhood has been cut. Life at the house is a bit challenging since we use the Internet for many things.- lights, thermostats, entertainment, working from home, Alexa, time, and extended cell coverage-almost 30 devices. IoT is great until it is not.
