Today I will be at Gosport Museum doing two talks for #GosportHeritageOpenDays. At 1230 I will be hosting Against All Odds, missions by the #RoyalNavy that really should not not have worked......but they did! One of these was what happened to HMS #Campbeltown. #ww2 #gosport #museum

On this day 397 years ago the Swedish warship #Vasa sank on her maiden voyage in #Stockholm harbour. The wreck today is in a museum after being recovered along with all her amazing artefacts in the 1950s, I had the opportunity to visit her on two occasions in 2018 and 2019. #vasamuseet #shipwreck
