Eastshade is a beautiful little indie game that I aboslutely need everyone to play. There is no combat. You are an artist in a new land there to fulfill family-driven artistic endeavors. Also, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing.

Even as someone who really enjoyed Mass Effect: Andromeda (don't stone me), I am also worried about the next Mass Effect game. I will always try to support these two IPs until they stop breathing but totally agree with you.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard also had a verison of this puzzle and it was also released just in the last few month 😅

Currently reading The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon for bookclub. I highly recommend, it's a period piece murder mystery with the lead protag being a late 1700's woman in her 50's who is a midwife and just overall badass!

I totally agree! We joke about "save scumming" but having to save the game before entering any new cave/dungeon/zone because the game won't auto-save for me when entering a new area really takes the immersion away for me. Dying in new place and being set back 2 hours does, too.

and when they DO finally let them work on games people will want and love, they don't give them enough time to finish them and they launch in a unplayable state with so much cut content you could make another game.

I hate this! It’s like, why is it okay to binge 3 hours worth of Netflix, but playing video games for 3 hours is “I don’t get it what’s the purpose of this?!”
