Hello, I’m Ryan, and thanks for the space. While I run and play trpgs, my creative work is primarily in traditional artistic media, mostly plein air oil painting, under Worlds Eye Studio.
“Cambridge Creek” A 6 inch high by 12 inch wide oil painting on linen panel of a harbor at sunset. Most of the lower half is water, reflecting the soft blues and pinks of the cloudy sky. They are separated by a band of buildings, boats, ship masts, and a water tower. The painting is signed POE in the lower right. Painted on the traditional lands of the Choptico and Choptank people. “Purnell Crossing” A 9 inch high by 12 inch wide oil painting on linen panel depicting an old farmhouse viewed from across farmland. The thin band of sky along the top is cloudy, and the farmhouse and outbuildings sit at left in front of a line of trees at the other side of a light green field. The field in the foreground is bounded on the right by another group of trees, and is a variety of greens, yellows, and reddish browns. Painted on the traditional lands of the Pocomoke and Assateague people. “Fairmount Park” A 6 inch high by 8 inch wide oil painting on linen panel depicting the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania skyline. The sky is partly cloudy, and Fairmount Park is in the foreground, including trees, baseball fields, grassy fields, and a lane running to the left. Painted on the traditional lands of the Lenni-Lenape. “Cypress Sunrise” A 9 inch high by 12 inch wide oil painting on linen panel depicting the sunrise over farmland and woodland. The clouds and sky are orange, pink, blue, and purple, over a stand of trees that begin on the left and recede further back to the right. Closer on the right is a one story house with smaller trees and a utility pole in front of a mist covered field. Two recently tilled farm fields border a road ending near the trees on the left and running off the bottom of the panel. Painted on the traditional lands of the Pocomoke and Assateague people.

I received this as part of a participant gift package along with a selection of Indigenous-made items and snacks. I’m not Indigenous myself, but I had the good fortune of being able to attend because the 2020 Intertribal Agriculture Council conference was virtual, free, and related to my work.
