And yes: moms do need to work, breastfeeding is hard, and pumping takes time. The good news is that workers nationwide have protections if they choose to pump when returning to work.

The newly reintroduced FAMILY Act would, among other things:
✔️Provide workers with up to 12 weeks of income when they take time
✔️Cover workers in all companies, no matter their size
✔️Enable the lowest-paid workers to earn up to 85% of their normal wages
