Beautiful
About fifty years ago, NASA strapped a message in a bottle to a rocket and flung it into the deep dark
It wasn’t supposed to go this far, but it did. Long past its mission, it’s still out there so far away now that a simple hello takes a day to reach it, and another day to hear if it says hello back

Who do you really trust to carry the next message in a bottle?
And will anyone be left listening when it comes back?

remember tonight to set your clock ahead an hour. but if canada and mexico set their clocks ahead an hour, then set your clocks back an hour. except for clocks in the automotive industry and clocks made with parts already covered under the USMCA, in which case

What accounts for phrasing like this?

If any other president in modern times had signed an executive order libelling a DC law firm as an enemy of the state, the headlines would be about how he’s a fucking lunatic, the courts were sure to slap him down, and his cabinet was reacting with horror.
President Donald Trump targeted another elite law firm that has represented clients he considers his political enemies, sending a forceful message that he is willing to punish firms who work for people or groups that oppose his administration’s agenda.

The problem with Democratic Party is that no one takes them seriously because they don’t take themselves seriously.

You can’t simultaneously argue Trump is a fascist intent on destroying democracy but your major response is to wear a pink suit to a speech, and expect to be taken seriously.

Just an obvious point that anyone with the inside word on when these these total reversals are going to be announced is in a position to make almost limitless amounts of money. Don't forget that given the kind of people who make up this administration.

How has Trump improved the lives of working-class Americans?

Eggs are 15.2% more expensive. Gas at the pump is up 1.8%. 72 million Americans are at risk of losing health care.

Stocks are down and grocery prices are up. I'm not sure what these Republicans are applauding.

Why would any country trust the U.S., especially an ally, ever again?

How is this good for our country or serving our interests in anyway? America First?
(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

Donald Trump and JD Vance's charade in the Oval Office today was shameful and un-American.

It made them look small and it makes everyone less safe.

It is clearly in the interest of Americans to support Ukraine in a war against our adversary

America First is consistent with support for Ukraine. It’s not hard.
