Agreed, yet caution that this is not confined to Christian nationalism, or even religion or nationalism. The dynamic is about power & control / coercive control, which can use any set of beliefs for justification.

So all the training I wrote about in yesterday's post, really just reflects my intent to offer what I can, when I can, in the way I can, which may not be what other people expect from a woman, but I'm nothing if not great at challenging people's expectations! 😝

There's this belief I touched on, that women are naturally good at #community & #organizing & #communityorganizing, but I am not one of those women & not just bc of the #neurodivergence, but also a boatload of #trauma.

And yet, we're at this point in time where I feel I'd better get good at it.

I went to bed last night anxious that I hadn't properly captured the context in which I'm learning #emergencymanagement, thus appearing oblivious, which I am a lot bc #ADHD, but also here is why my training efforts matter: trauma-disaster-healing-recovery.ghost.io/organizing-i... #community

2) how nice it is to watch "fiction based on true events" where something could've gone catastrophically wrong but didn't bc ppl worked together to prevent the catastrophe (& were prepared in the meantime just in case)
