This photo was taken last year at an #Inghams vigil in Australia. This chicken would likely be no more than 39 days old at time of slaughter. It just broke my little heart and I silently wept 🥲 She (I think) had closed her eyes and just wanted it all to be over.

I came across this lovely carpet python recently on one of my beach walks. He/she had recently eaten and was happily staying put to digest its meal. Being a massive animal nerd, it only felt right to post.
