these 5 bks came out abt one year ago.

i am especially glad to have worked with Steve Moore on the Elizabethan novel ‘The Adventures of Lady Egeria’ (1585), an ultraviolent occult bloodbath of a book, incorporating strange marginal asides & poetry

“No pity in harlot’s hands, suck innocent blood.”
Empyrean Series nos. 41–45 were published earlier this season.

The series’s mandate is to enlarge the body of literature known to readers & scholars by pub’ing works from various literary periods that are little-known & out of print.

Our job as Team Human is not to succumb to the zero-sum mentality of the wealthy.

MPT Greek and Cypriot poetry in English translation no.3 of 2025 is utterly brilliant!! 🤩

Buy one!

I fell in love with at least four new poets’ work, in excellent translations by Peter Constantine, A. E. Stallings (they sang), Ekaterina Petrova & Iana Boukova and Krystalli Glyniadakis.

Current reading - Uwe Schutte's biography of Kraftwerk. Not only is it pretty much definitive, but it comes in a *fantastic* cover. Everything about this just works.
