they were going to a kids basketball tourney this past saturday.

after asking one employee (who didn’t have a clue), i was approached by another employee who exclaimed “it’s you!! I recognized your voice!” seeing my puzzled look, he continued “you told us about the storks! we thought that was so cool!” i then remembered him, his young son and the child’s grandma

luckily we still had yard waste pickup so tuesday evening i put out the bin. the reason it was so crazy full was that last friday, some big truck busted off one of the branches on the bradford pear and my amazing neighbor chopped it up before i got home. way to go, Kim!

on saturday i hung out with some of the gang for cards against humanity. on the way, i had to stop by @Costco and they were offering #COVID shots so i took them up on the offer! at game night, i made everyone air-fried cheese curds. my first try and kinda yummy!

i dropped off someone in Westport - kind of an upscale business and entertainment area and a giant #GoldenGlove was out in the parking lot. turns out, its the world HQ for @RawlingsSG!! they announced the nominees for this years awards last night and they are revealing the winners on sunday.
