It's been quite a tiring day of telling people to not just say someone with a known diagnosis of NVLD is Autistic because in nearly every instance we tried for an ASD diagnosis and were denied. Please, just recognize NVLD for what it is and stop calling us Nonverbal. We're quite the opposite.

I've been doing VHS to DVD conversions lately and it's so surreal to watch home movies of people you only know as acquaintances from before you were born. The road trips and days at the boardwalk are idyllic.

In my #ukulelequest I'm finding inspiration in the 90s. I was a child at the time but so often I find that I'm singing along to these songs even after decades of not hearing them played. Music is really impressive with the way it holds to your memory, no wonder it's used medically to help people.

In some unholy combination of autism, side sleeping, old mattresses, and being over 35.... I cannot get comfy in my bed lying the normal way anymore. I sleep in a pile of pillows with my feet hanging over the edge and my quarantine pup spooning me.

I approached @zestydoesthings.bsky.social asking if I could animate one of his illustrations in #spine2d / #2dspine . Lo and behold here is the final product. It was a lot of fun working with his drawing and I'm so thankfully to him for it.

I'm one of the handful of millennials who was able to watch the new #ranma1/2 anime with a clean slate bc I somehow bypassed all of the subs even though I've been watching anime since 1999.
It was amazing. Ranma is a genderfluid icon and I'm forever amazed that Rumiko Takahashi had multiple hits
