During an energy crisis rediscovering an old rather rough way of travel. I can't recommend that method though. And it has become rather illegal these days. The can stop a whole train to get a hobo off and arrested.

But visiting the big city and capitol museums and art galleries also filled me with some hope for our culture and society.
Basically I was a traveling bum for two months, not really a hobo as the purpose of a hobo traveling is to find a job. I was on the edge of society.
