OBEX is unlike anything I’ve ever watched before. It feels haunted in its visuals. Albert Birney uses video games and a love of old-school technology as a connection to exploring loneliness. Dug the fantasy elements of this the most, a beautifully strange fairy tale of a film. #filmsky

oooooooo I just watched SWEETNESS (full review coming soon) and I’m OBSESSED! Feels spiritually connected to TRAP and THE FAN. Love seeing these weird little movies about girls obsessions and their quirks, while also being so dark and twisted. Kate Halley scowls like no one’s business. #filmsky

my favorite memories growing up was renting movies with my family.
the neon orange tape of “Harriet The Spy” was a constant rental in our home. seeing the world through her eyes was impactful for me as a girl who had similar thoughts & emotions.
