I am just trying to make things easier for my wife and daughter. I love the mountains while my jam is fishing. My place is 🏳️‍🌈 safe.

So this happened an hour ago. I don’t think I’ve seen red this deep in a long time. You could see it quite clearly with the naked eye. #aurora

FWIW, they’re still doing the northern light thing out here.
The reds came through a lot at first but quickly mellowed out.
We lucked out and were outside at the right time

"Every dollar raised between now and December 31st will be matched, up to $20,000!

"If we raised the full amount, that would provide a year of operating costs (includes food purchases)."

Insurance companies wet dream is eliminating all pre-existing protection. I will never be able to get quality insurance if that goes away.

New in PN: Cue the rebellion

"The unfortunate conclusion to the shutdown is going to fuel a rebellion within the Democratic Party, one that has already begun but will only get stronger. And despite all the justified disgust now being expressed at Dems, in the long run it will be good for the party"
Cue the rebellion
The Democratic base is enraged at their party's capitulation — and that's a good thing.

Today, I’m wearing black from head to toe. Today is a day that certain demographics are celebrating Trump and his continual dedication and shitting on our American military, active and retired. Anyone that has an R behind their name still supports this administration can simply FUCK OFF!
The American people have a DUTYA to boycott his book and make sales plummet.

Today the Supreme Court granted review in an important case for the outcome of the 2026 elections. At stake is the fate of tens or even hundreds of thousands of mail-in ballots. No one is covering this as completely as Democracy Docket. Please support its work by subscribing today. hubs.ly/Q03M8rql0
This is me when I know I shouldn’t poke the bear ( @spicytater.bsky.social ) but the opportunity is just WAAAY to tempting 😂
Trumps lawyers already admitted to SCOTUS that consumers pay the tariffs. Trump is talking imaginary money in his late stage dementia.
Johnson will allow the subsidies expire before holding a vote. Easiest way to screw Americans and allow insurance companies to offer complete junk policies for people desperate for coverage.
Interesting, Trump lawyers talking in front of SCOTUS specifically stated tariffs were paid by the public.

If anyone still believes that consumers are not paying every cent of the tariff then ya all need to fuck right off and stop voting and being a consumer of goods FFS!!
Hassett: "I think it's back on the table to think about what to do with those tariff revenues. I'm sure the president will discuss with congressional leaders whether because of all of the extra tax revenue, there is more room to get checks back to people."

There will be another 60 vote Friday* on the garbage shutdown deal. If we can convince just one Senator from the 52 republicans and 8 Dems that voted yes to flip, we could still stop this. Please jump on the phone today, call them, and share this widely.

*If all goes by the regular schedule
Idaho would’ve been able to step up and help their citizens with SNAP. Now, the reality is Idaho cannot even begin to balance their budget. They went from a $2B+ “nest egg” in 2023 to -$100+M black hole. Corporations got their tax breaks at taxpayers expense!
“When it became certain that SNAP would be delayed or eliminated for this month, we had at least half a dozen people in here in tears, just in tears, saying, ‘I don’t know how I’m going to feed my family,'" said Steve Small, food bank manager at the Community Action Partnership in Lewiston.
