this is a thing i saw someone post about here before that i worry about. you can look at a picture in one split second but a screen reader takes many seconds to read a long text description. so instead of describing every detail one can imagine how getting to the point of what's relevant is nicer.
Even if a description is short & well done, I often wish there were no description at all. Get to the point, already! How ironic that striving after access can actually create a barrier. When I pointed this out during 1 of my seminars, a participant made us all laugh by doing a parody: “Mary is wearing a green, blue, & red striped shirt; every fourth stripe also has a purple dot the size of a pea in it—” “You’re killing me,” I said. “I can’t take any more of that!” Now serious, she said it was clear to her that none of that stuff about Mary’s clothes mattered, at least if her clothes weren’t the point. What mattered most about the image was that Mary was holding her diploma and smiling. “But,” she wondered, “do I say, Mary has a huge smile on her face as she shows her diploma or Mary has an exuberant smile or showing her teeth in a smile & her eyes are crinkled at the edges?” It’s simple. Mary has a huge smile on her face is the best one. It's the don't-second-guess-yourself option.

Take a deep breath and let it all in The sickly aroma you're cursed to give off I inhale more with you Than I would in a valley of flowers And when I was younger I'd dream of a lover Someone who's just like you So when you wilted I cried out for hours Repenting for loving someone who deserves way better; That got me thinking about you again As I smell the candles you left behind. A continuation of the previously mentioned poem. It reads: If I had just told you I wasn't okay, then Maybe you wouldn't have found out that way. I could've told you while we cuddled together That I ached from bruising all over... So I need you to tell me you love me, You really love me, not for my body or the love I give But I kept that secret until you passed by And now it's the memory that makes me wish I told you. "Hey, it's okay. I'm right here; anything I can do to help you feel better? Okay. We can just relax together until it goes away. I love you too."
