Still can't quite believe Immich (immich.app) exists? By now they have implemented basically re-implemented basically every Google Photos feature (with some obvious exceptions like ordering photo books and the like) on probably not even 0.1% of the budget.

This has not gotten better in the slightest by the way. I've used DeepL multiple times now to translate English stuff to German.
Currently have to write a paper in German as a uni assignment. I know it's my native language, but it genuinely feels much more difficult than writing in English. Every other sentence I have an English expression in mind that I'd like to use and can't think of a German equivalent.
