"The ‘60 Minutes’ interview with Trump showcased everything that is wrong with US political interviews in general. The deferential tone. The lack of preparation. The failure to ask follow-up questions or dig deep into answers. The inability (unwillingness?) to fact-check in real time."

Like it or not, you are living in an authoritarian state. Someone who has worked at the DOJ for only 4 days was the ONLY signature on the indictment of James Comey. Comey gave Trump the White House. It's hard to muster sympathy for him, but the abuse of power is off Nixon's chart!

Part 1: There are lots of cruel memes and commentary as Elonia and Trumpina have their very public breakup. I will not be a part of the mocking. #brosbreakup

Part 2: Yes, we all knew that their greed and narcissistic tendencies would end up streaming tears. This sort of thing is why women get saddled with not being suited for the stress of public and military service. #brosbreakup

Part 3: ...Let’s give them space to heal, space to grift on meme coins and stealing money from the poor. When they get back to the joy of cheating, lying, and being incompetent, then maybe we can all get some peace. Thoughts and prayers. #brosbreakup

It feels like no one should have to say this, and yet we are in a situation where it needs to be said, very loudly and clearly, before it’s too late to do anything about it: The United States is not a startup. If you run it like one, it will break.

This is the truth!
As I watch mostly blue collar workers spending much of their paychecks on lottery tickets in hopes of becoming economically successful despite statistical logic, it is in that same vane they voted for Trump who promised them wealth without any substance backing that promise.

Don't worry. Not Trump's first rodeo with letting people die.
The sheer amount of H5N1 circulating in North America is deeply concerning. My suspicion is that the likelihood of a reassortment event with seasonal flu occurring is now high. Make no mistake, this situation has pandemic potential.
Stunning: 58 new #H5N1 #birdflu infected herds in California confirmed by #USDA today.
