Be good to each other.
Creatives, do you love a good desk reset as much as I do? It's the best thing.

I am trying to get the hobby wheels turning enough to get back to working on miniatures. This will do for now. Finished it up this evening after dinner.

I have been getting my feet wet with Gunpla. I enjoy it; it is a faster process than miniature painting and gives a quick sense of accomplishment. On this piece, I only painted the gold and gave it a wash; the rest is off the sprue. Cleopatra Dark Mask Ver. from SD Gundam Heroes.

These 75mm figures date from the late 1930s. I restored them carefully to a new condition.

I used Biostrip to strip them and painted them with acrylic and gloss varnish. I bought some replacement rubber wheels for the machine gunner.

The last person to paint these toys did so 80 years ago.

“The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of the infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.”

In some of my smaller cases, there are miniatures spanning from the 1960s to today. The hobby is always growing and changing. The best part about the hobby is you can't do it wrong. Your way is the right way.

Some classic spookiness today. These miniatures are from Minifigs. They came out in the early 1980's. I love them for their simplicity.
