1000%! I've honestly never really had a good Foundry experience. We always seem to spend more time dealing with some addon not working or trying to do too much stuff we don't really need.

I've been a huge fan of Alchemy. It's simple and is great for setting the mood for each scene.

Yeah, I think so. You usually get at least a severe damage out of it unless you're really unlucky with the rolls. Also, only one person spends the hope but a roll with hope will generate a hope for both players which is nice.

Mainly though, it's just such a cool way to do awesome moves lol.

Basically, one of the heroes can spend three hope to initiate a tag team attack. The two PCs describe how they work together, then both roll and they choose which result to use. Damage they do is then combined into one massive attack. It's so cool lol.

There is an alternate rule you could talk to your DM about implementing where everyone basically has a set number of times they can act in combat, and it resets once everyone has used their tokens. It keeps the free flowing feel but makes sure everyone is getting a turn. I find it helps for this.

I think this is it really. People seem to stay engaged when it's not their turn more than in 5e.

I've been running a campaign on my channel for a month or two now and I agree about combat. It seems more fluid and less predictable, and I find it to be way more engaging than the fixed 5e initiative.

The team up rule also allows for some REALLY fun interactions from the players.

Yeah it's a pretty big commitment. I would recommend the Amazon Prime animated shows though, they do a good job of translating the vibe to a 30 minute show if he's interested.

Right?! It's so late lol. I've been listening to it while I walk the dog, but it's been super rainy lately so I've made very little progress the last few days lol.

And yes I know they've always had long episodes, which is why I'm often behind anymore lol.
