With this nomination, we want to show our appreciation and support the admirable work the activists in these organizations do, often under difficult circumstances. We are deeply convinced that they should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, but we have also learned from previous years

of the women’s peace movement in Palestine, Israel and France: Women of the Sun, Women Wage Peace and Guerrières de la Paix. They represent women at the center of a transnational process of overcoming violence and hatred and of recognizing our shared humanity.
