Weird isn't it. A one off purchase of an item that they claim will last for years and they seem to assume we'll need another one a day later. The result is we end up hating the brand. If they were clever they'd start advertising to us after a long pause when we might be in the market for a new one.

The best way to deal with this is for countries to stand together in opposition, and to seek growth in trade with any country except the US. Citizens can help in this by boycotting US goods.

I completely agree with Alistair on 'woke'. To me it means (among other things) anti-racist, pro-feminist, inclusive and compassionate. All things I aspire to be. Let's reclaim it like African Americans reclaimed the 'n' word.

This kind of anti renewables is all over the place. If we hypothesise that it a commercial interest funding this it would have to be the electricity distribution companies who stand to loose from decentralisation of generation and more likely the nuclear power industry.

Alex and Arthur in your discussion about 🇺🇦 v 🇷🇺 you didn't mention the state of the 🇷🇺 economy. I read many commentators predicting imminent collapse. I don't know whether to believe them. What's your take?

I understand. I find it difficult to read but it is a minor point as I don't usually need to read the titles of your episodes to decide whether or not to listen. This one was excellent. I find it endlessly frustrating how willing some of my fellow lefties are to dance to the Daily Mail'a drum. x
