Psyched myself out and delayed this one. I did all the one minute intervals at 6 mph. Except the last two.
I did those at 6.25 mph.
The 2 minute rest intervals were all at 3 mph.
Saturday I am going to do four run intervals at 6.25.
Reality was easier than expectation.

Only stretched two of the rest intervals today. Tomorrow I’m trying for zero…

I got up late, got started late, I made the run intervals, stretched the recovery intervals… I did almost two miles, a mile above sea level, at 51. I started Monday last week at a mile. I’m almost two miles…

Friday was the run from hell. I couldn’t get into a rhythm. Breathing, moving, intervals, nothing played well together. I took yesterday off and redid Fridays run today.
WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
Today was on beat, I could breathe, and was significantly less sore. What a difference a day makes.

Some of you are subscribed to me because of my interest in mixology.
Today, I give you the recipe for a Bourbon Tropic.
Shot of Bourbon
Shot of Grand Marnier
Shot of Heering
Shot of fruit juice (rotary keyboard says pineapple, I like sour cherry, lemonade works too).
Mix and serv with ice.

Today is a momentous day. I have achieved what 5% of printables.com users have earned…
I got my Star of Design 1: Nebula!
This means people found my 2 designs useful enough to download them 10 times.

I was talking with a friend today saying, “I remember sitting in history class studying the 60’s and McCarthy’s reign of red scare terror and trying to understand how could anyone think that way? How could people do nothing when the stupid was so damned obvious?”
35 years later this hurts, badly.

Today’s printables.com is a blade holder…
the designer said my print is “flawless.” Now, if I forget I have my knife on me, I throw away the blade. If someone in TSA is stupid silly after that, fine I’ll throw away the 25 cents in plastic too… “I can reprint it, I have the technology…”

todays printables.com is gridfinity spools. I have the bug and now must spool the solder, some tape, magnet wire, maybe some micro paracord…
SPOOL! (It was originally going to be this instead of SPOON! Just sayin')

Just completed the Introduction to Windows Command Line module on HTB! Learned core commands, PowerShell basics, and system investigation techniques. Came up with a neat little hack that validated my answers before I submitted them… big points for that ;)

Hackers hours, cold pizza, the only thing missing was jolt cola…
This one took four hours.
Using persistence, patience, and methodical thinking — even through a busted instance, obfuscated API, and a surprise REST structure. Real-world CTF energy right there. This is why I do this… even at 50.

Just completed an Introduction to Active Directory course! AD is Microsoft’s directory service that helps manage users, computers, and resources across a network. It’s the backbone of centralized authentication and access control in enterprise environments.

Lets not forget the networking fundamentals! I learned something new, which is exciting! VXLAN! With regular VLANS you get 4096 VLANS, fine for a home user ;) But what if you run a GIGANTOCORP? VXLAN will save the day.
