Do we live in an oligarchy or an actual corpocracy? Does anyone care?

This is my backup social media account.
⬆️ This is the side of me that really despises neo-liberals.

In the presses, all of you now white-haired assholes went along with George W. Bush and Dick Cheney's plans for global order.

Your types are about as bad as the Trumpers. You fellas hide behind both academia and policy-setting jobs. FU.

So it means they can be bought off or just used to impact legal proceedings.

Trump bought off Pam Bondi back in 2016 with $20k. She returned the favor by becoming the DOJ’s A.G.

She cannot count using high numbers, like most legal people are unable to. She is also certifiable, in my humble opinion.

The rich folks have got that judge right where they want her…

Please read Wikipedia. I knew someone who worked in an emergency room. A bus hit Giuffre’s vehicle in that country she was living in.

Do you know what renal failure is? It is when the kidneys fail due to massive bleeding and physical trauma. I’ve just made all my points here. I won’t debate.

It’s the redactions. When the President authorized those (and he’s now immune) it complicated everything. Undoing redactions will be hard. When Trump leaves they will shred documents and released missing or sanitized copies

That heathen judge in Florida re: classified documents started all of this.

"... Hegseth was not involved and the captain's nomination was pulled because she was not a SEAL."

My critique is this. ⬆️ The author(s) could have dug a bit deeper. A lot deeper. That paragraph doesn't tell us anything new.

They didn't dig, and it's pretty much because of Hegseth's people at DOD.

I have absolutely no problem with you posting this. I see this is a recurring problem in our armed forces. I take issue w/ this part written by RS:

"One defense official familiar with the matter said there had been discussions about whether the role was necessary, and a Pentagon source said ..."

I'm not trying to personally put you down. I know you are just posting a link. That is okay.

One of former President George W. Bush's goals was to privatize Social Security. He didn't get far, there. He and Dick Cheney also wanted a unitary executive branch.

We got that. They control all branches.
November 11, 2025 at 4:41 PM
... an actual redaction means it won't ever turn up for decades.

All of that was intentional. DOJ cited national security or some such bullshit.

And anyways, thanks to SCOTUS — both Trump and all future presidents are pretty much exempt/immune from any and all prosecution I'm sorry to write. /end

Another thing, did you know that MSNBC host Joe Scarborough and his wife who co-hosts their show both identify as conservatives; or conservative Democrats? Their interpretation of events may actually be skewed enough to affect their own views.

Word of anything Trump in those files was redacted. /1

Basic math check:

The GOP currently has 219 seats in the House of Representatives.

The simple majority is 218 out of 435 total House seats.

Fact: the Democrats now have 213 seats.

Republicans almost always vote together in lock-step. I'm sorry to write that. They're good at doing that.

Here is the OPB link about a potential ICE compound possibly being built at the existing US Coast Guard facility in Newport, Oregon: www.opb.org/article/2025...
Newport officials raise alarm about possible new ICE facility
Rumors have spread since last week that the Trump administration is planning an outpost on Oregon's central coast.

#MAGA has seeped into every district, every county, and every city in the US.

It's not just MAGA types who fall to pressure by corporations and paramilitary government organizations such as ICE requesting help.

As I wrote, Democrat leaders are folding like pieces of paper on these matters too. /4

When the Benton County Commissioners (one is Gen X and the other is a Boomer) approved the appeal by Republic Services to expand #CoffinButte landfill they got elected promising they would listen to the needs of county residents. Last week those two voted for Coffin Butte — a bad deal all around. /3

Nobody wants that facility there; least of all Newport's residents.

The problem is no one may show up to protest the building of such a facility. If they get it through the approval process they may achieve this during the "dead of night" so the public can't find out until it's too late. /2

PS / I get casually critiqued by my friends over the fact that I'm born to be a bachelor, my moody behavior, and also my oddball viewpoints.

Half the time — honestly — I do not know what I'm really writing on here. I should just... stop.

It just seems f*cking hopeless. I am starting school winter term at a nearby community college. I have some money saved up. I'm able to do this because I was thinking ahead.

Many others will not ever be able to do that past the age of being able to, at a young age.

It's a shit stem. Game's rigged.
November 11, 2025 at 4:37 AM
We are hopelessly outnumbered against this idiocy.

It used to be people like Eugene V. Debs could make a small difference (and go to jail for doing just that).

This country is now big, population-wise and no one person can make a real impact in the legal, personal, political, or economic areas. /2
November 11, 2025 at 4:37 AM
... being able to find and keep jobs.

For over two decades, I've been writing something to the effect of: what about getting a life and forget about the f*cking job? Volunteer more, too.

What if we had Medicare-For-All and the system in the US was way less capitalist? Why not do it that way? /END

I see this as less of a class conflict and more of a #generational conflict.

Baby boomers literally have 50-60% of all the financial wealth, assets, and portfolios.

Not only is this not fundamentally fair; it is structurally destabilizing.

The op-ed columnists just dismiss this as people not.../4
