Spend some time in a tree, watch the moon rise, listen to the squirrels play in the leaves. There is always more to experience about hunting than the harvest.

For those who wander outdoors. In some states, purple paint can mean the same as a no trespassing sign. This can be very important during the current hunting seasons. Be safe out there.

After an unfortunate encounter with a truck, this juvenile red tailed hawk is going to rehabilitation. Its right eye already had issues, which was likely the cause of it flying into the path of the truck. It was not happy with me after being wrapped up for the truck ride.
