Sales taxes are attached to most everything you buy! Ad valorem are property taxes. 🙂

Yes but notice he doesn’t propose an alternative. It’s an unserious bill that will not get traction. Sales tax rate would have to increase by over 20% to compensate for the elimination of property taxes.
