I think the healthier solution for you is cutting ties, you can't trust she won't be a go-between... and it's hard to see her as your friend when she's friendly with your abuser. I couldn't see my former friends as friends because they didn't even try. I talked to one of them, and said

all this to say that we fool ourselves thinking we can keep some friends, but on the long run, they'll drop us, so better cut ties now than keep an unbalanced friendship

a few years ago, I broke up with a few friends from a group of friends. they really hurt me and I tried to stay friends with the others that didn't hurt me, but they'd rather keep talking with them than me, then I started resenting them, and cut ties with them, too

there are so many teens reading romantasy because the industry is publishing new adult books with YA themes and writing style, but there's sex scenes :/ I like emma lord and lynn painter, though, they write books for teens

sometimes I wonder how they can still be editing books. like there's a lot of indie books coming to trad publishing, and despise having fans, the book still needs edit. like that powerless trilogy, the trad published version didn't change a thing

I read a romance written in an non-linear timeline and I couldn't care less about the main character and the new guy she was dating, but I also didn't care about the main character reconnecting with her first love in the present because I wasn't invested in their relationship
