I'm having a hard time with "Americans are dying from drugs, but not the drugs Venezuela sends, but they do send other drugs," as a reason why US troops have to sacrifice their lives.

When most uncles get to this stage, we limit their ability to harm themselves and others by putting them in a professional care setting.

There's always the question of what level of unstable are we dealing with in this instance?
Is this just a ludicrous outburst of emotional disregulation, or is this another real abuse of power with real consequences we're going to have to deal with?
