💯💯 The problem for too many of us is that we enter into these types of discussions trying to impress upon others what we know or think, instead of being open, listening, and learning.

There are definitely a lot of people qualifying. They filled out the first 12 slots of the waitlist with runners who had 128 tickets. I think that was a good thing.

2 - you have to keep repeating that scenario for months leading up to the race to explain all the training. On the other side, run the 100 miler and you are done explaining in less than 30 hours… except for all the celebrating that follows by them when they tell everyone they know what you did. 🤷🏻‍♂️
