By “putting faith in Christ” I can only guess that he means that the apple ain’t gonna fall far from the tree and there is nothing Christlike about it. First time in my adult life where Thanksgiving has no expectations. I don’t have to drag my family anywhere they don’t want to go, I don’t have to pull out fancy dinnerware because one parent or another expects it, hell! I don’t even have to wear pants if I don’t want! I miss my extended fam tho.

Our insurance premium is quoted at $3498.33 per month without subsidies. That is more than double our mortgage payment. This works out to nearly $42k per year. AND I can’t count the number of times I’ve had to fight with them because they refuse to cover something basic. Insurance is a scam.
