#TheLastShowgirl is a tremendous backstage tale set in an empty, irrelevant Las Vegas of broken dreams. Anderson is fantastic, a fading Monroe-esque dancer unable to make meaningful relationships after a lifetime of performance epitomises a lost America. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

#TheLastShowgirl is a tremendous backstage tale set in an empty, irrelevant Las Vegas of broken dreams. Anderson is fantastic, a fading Monroe-esque dancer unable to make meaningful relationships after a lifetime of performance epitomises a lost America. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
#BridgetJones:MadAboutTheBoy is a beautifully acted dollop of nostalgia. Instead of going for belly-laughs we get mature poignancy and wit. Both a worthy sequel and a mature and rather tear-jerking remake of the original for us oldies. A bit slow, but then aren’t we all now? Loved it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
