When I took improv at IO West years ago, the first thing they did in Level One was to give us all a copy of the book "Truth in Comedy" by Charna Halpern and Del Close.

Republicans would be checked out of that improv class by the first word of the title.

The protesters are all imbecilic morons who need to get a job is the sort of thing I grew up only ever hearing in translation from Eastern European languages during the USSR.

Does that mean Nuzzi is banging the person writing the op ed about her doing journalism the right way?

The average infosec practitioner is not right wing, and may well wear cat ears. The right wingers are more the billionaire techbro class who don't know much about computers. Tech libertarianism had a lot of influence from lefty ex hippies at Berkeley.

A buddy and I always play it two player, so that's what I know best, but you can have more. I think up to five. Strategy shifts a bit because stuff like nuking someone with the Fission card is much more likely to accidentally trigger the apocalypse with more players.

Innovation.

And maybe that fictional cows and cheese game from your videos because it looks like an improved version of Clans of Caledonia crossed with Magic.

As a very bad and clunky writer who is particularly bad at names to the extent that one of the main characters in my movie is only ever called "Coworker" and the main character's love interest is "Technician Number Two," I would never be so lazy as to name the scandal lawyer Skandalakis.

Also, opioid addiction in the US mostly starts with overprescription by doctors pushed by drug companies making billions, not cartels making millions selling a cheaper alternative to the already-hooked.

"The NYT, embarrassingly tangled up in Epstein related emails, now pushes out trial balloons on the topic 'everything is fine and you can be rehabilitated if it is done _for love.'_ NYT is optimistic that this will save their reputation."

Great. So what are you doing about Senate leadership so that bills like this will actually get pushed for?

The intern that reposts here understands that the audience here is just people who follow their Senator on Bluesky, right? We already know Trump is corrupt, we need to see action on Schumer.

Counterpoint: You just gave an amoral man with nearly infinite resources no reason not to go on a murder spree because you have no more escalation ladder in enforcement. And if he kills enough of the right people, it might be a net benefit for him.

Bit I'm not a hard-no.

One thing that's clear is that Epstein didn't type real good.

Evil introverts just need evil pyramid schemes. You only have to talk to two people. Then each of them talks to two people, etc. You can totally be an evil mysterious reclusive cult leader type if you put your mind to it.

This is the kind of correction that you can maybe use to get a point on "Um Actually," but still probably shouldn't.
November 13, 2025 at 2:54 AM
Yeah, we know Trump is bad on the environment. What are you doing about Senate leadership changes so that a Democrat agenda actually has leadership pushing for it? Because under current leadership, it doesn't matter how much you say about Trump's policies if Senate dems will keep compromising.

To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?
“would you like photos of donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen?” -Jeffrey Epstein
