Modern broiler chickens are anything but natural. They are selectively bread and their rapid growth is a source of a lot of pain and suffering.

A 30g chick can reach slaughter weight, around 2kg, in ~ 6 weeks.

That’s the equivalent of a 3kg newborn human baby reaching 300 kilograms in 2 months. 🌱

Animal agriculture is a massive waste of water and resources.

Beans are also one of the cheapest foods available with a ridiculously long shelf life.
