All cut with EGO 16” bar 7.5Ah battery (they seem to have fixed their ongoing battery problems now. Stihl 12” bar 300 battery (been running over 10 years); I covet the Husqvarna line but have only used a friend’s saw couple times. My favorite Arborist shop online Tree Stuff often has them on sale.

Moodlifter Saturday: Bluesky Mimosa. First major blooming on a tree grown from seed gathered locally, sown 6 years ago. From seedling to showstopper, and yes the fragrance is delicious.

Our beavers doing beaverish things on the nightshift. Dropped a sweetgum that was scheduled for removal. As an arborist, I always marvel at the precision of their ‘beaver-hinge’ technique. They’ll be gnawing on this beauty for a week or so.
