Reuben, our beloved bark machine, is away to the Vee Eee Tee this morning for a minor surgical procedure. We're a little worried because of his age and other health issues. Good vibes, please, for a quick revovery.

Just finished re-reading William Gibson's (@greatdismal.bsky.social) Pattern Recognition. It's a great story, set in a murky underworld of corporate and individual hunters of "the cool." Cayce Pollard is such a hero I'm having trouble meeting his next female lead in "Spook Country." Love his books.
