Hegseth is a deeply amoral and unethical man. He's not capable of making those kinds of distinctions, or of accepting responsibility for things.

If you listen to what they actually say about it in public when they know people can hear them you realize they are *counting on it*.

I miss the days when terrible, unscrupulous lawyers at least had the good sense to *try* and stay out of the glare of deep public scrutiny.
