Does anyone else’s word processor randomly switch between French and English within the same manuscript? It seems to happen for me now once per manuscript, and idk why. It’s always just a sentence or two…

I am looking for code that someone wrote to obtain a frequency count of these words, to share with a colleague. I used it but forgot to save the code… anyone have any idea?

Exclusive: how NSF is scouring research grants for violations of Trump’s orders
The US National Science Foundation has unfrozen grant funding, but it continues to scrutinize research projects, sowing turmoil.

So, time to stop submitting to any journal operated by the CDC?

Not sure I fully understand the implications of the OP’s post and the CDC email referenced.
BREAKING NEWS: CDC orders mass retraction and revision of submitted research across all science and medicine journals. Banned terms must be scrubbed.

Goes beyond MMWR +other CDC pubs. Applies to research already submitted to top medical journals.

Take a look.
