Google is telling me I might be mislabeling the pass I’m talking about. Perhaps a touch pass? When it’s basically a WR sweep but the QB “throws” it like a foot forward while the WR runs by instead of handing it off

That was a mistake. But instead of the lesson learned being “we need to plan for how to protect and properly compensate essential workers during a pandemic,” the lesson seems to be “we need to make sure no one does anything to prevent/mitigate the next pandemic.”

Pre-2020, informed by SARS 2003, there was a fair bit of planning devoted to the problem of how to ensure health care workers reported for duty when it might put them & their families at risk. Similar attention was not paid to education and food workers.
