It was 2019, and I had just moved to Montréal. Tax credits for artists were flowing and it was pre-pandemic.
I was looking for a musician to collaborate with so I built this proof of concept for @backxwash.bsky.social and she bought a round of shots for the nerds after her show.

The courtyard had an array of ground lasers. When you kicked around and interrupted the beam and light sensor, it would trigger a synth music tone or a projection-mapped animation.
