Been sick with a bout of covid and a stomach bug, simultaneously, this week. I finally felt well enough to not only get out of bed, but to go outside for a while. With the heat, there was a breeze that would carry mist over to me. Made it pleasant.

1 year ago, I was in the midst in my first adventure outside of the US and in Japan. So struck was I, I have had a strong longing to return.
Side note to the trip: I was watching the Olympics in Japanese and seeing sports we don't see on broadcast tv, like fencing and martial arts.

And I FINALLY decided what was next because this damn regime can't stop trying to idiolize fascist authoritarians.
It is specifically looking at those not in the SS and official Nazi groups but who also took part in the persecution and rounding up into camps, like certain police units and others.

Your all time favorite movie.
I really don't have favorites that sit at the top of anything very often. Series, maybe, or films that trade places with each other or sit near the top together, none truly surpassing the other. Many here are those sorts of films. This is one I haven't used yet.

This was definitely a hard one to follow as it has a ton of jargon that if one doesn't follow psychology already, makes it difficult to follow for much of the book. It does have useful info, like how this started. How it works.

Hard to pull it off but one that makes me feel the water works start, ever since I first saw it in theaters. The 2010 Karate Kid.
It reminded me so much of my time in high school in SC (03-06) and how much I hated being dragged there for my father's work.

This was an interesting read that looked at things like, what it means to be/have a family, whether it is one of blood or people that you choose, and a look at sexism within society and all it's double standards. (Specifically Japanese society.)
