Today is the most important date on the calender for the club. For Ratcliffe not to be in attendance is a pretty bad show imo

Just read that Sir Jim wasn't there today. Seriously. Life long Utd fan. Born down the road......

Sir Matt and a very young Sir Bobby heading to Blue Stars, Switzerland with the Busby Babes in 1954 and 37 years later accompanying a Man Utd youth side in 1991. I was incredibly lucky indeed and totally humbled to be in the company of giants. RIP 🌹🌹🇾🇪

All United fans will have a tear in their eye when watching this. It is an essential - and I would say - the most important part of your learning as a United fan.

Never to be forgotten.

RIP Sir Matt and the Busby Babes-you will live forever 💔💔

Poor first half. Second was a good performance. Thought Garna, Kobbie done well. Martinez brought the ball forward well. Eriksen deserves a mention too.

Bruno's 50th Europa League appearance. That's far too many in this comp for a player of his talent. He should be playing champions League football every year

There's a genuine great feeling when an academy graduate makes their full European debut. It's the history of the club. It matters

@trevthered.bsky.social Ratcliffe selling Garnacho to Chelsea. Appears to be strengthening the club he supports. Probably bring Mainoo in too. Renew his season ticket at the Bridge as he bores of his vanity project 🤔

Another day of rumours of in and outs. Regardless of all, praying for a result on Thursday. GGMU

It’s Danny Wallace’s birthday, so here he is scoring in the 1990 FA Cup semifinal to the soundtrack of the brilliant Barry Davies:

💬”Useful for Wallace. Test of his pace, now a test of his finish. And… he’s equal to both!”

I'm not the biggest fan of Garnacho, but if you sell your seeds, you'll never grow flowers.

Bar a couple of FA cups, the eighties wasn't a great time to be a Utd fan. But no matter who we played each week you always felt we had a chance. Because those who pulled the shirt on knew who Utd were and the history of the club. Players were honored to play for us.

When I watch the current bunch of overpaid bluffers, strolling around the hallowed turf, I let my mind wander.

It wanders to some of the greats I’ve watched live, & many I haven’t.

That is the ONLY thing keeping me invested. That our sporting 🤮 owner would so gladly throw it away breaks my heart.

Also love to hear thoughts and views on Amir Ibragimov. I know he's very young, but do people feel he'll make it? Is he one that would fit Amirons system?

Anyone watching a lot of Utd at u21/u18 level with any real hard thoughts and views about any youngsters yet to make a first team appearance but might be ready for the step up? Love to hear some thoughts and names.

Last 2 games were not ones we were looking forward to in general so it’s nice to get through it and come out smiling. Next 6 games are a big indicator of if we have finally turned some sort of corner #MUFC

There's heart in this team. There's fight in this team. We're not back at the top of the tree yet, & there's definitely re-enforcements needed over the next 2windows. But there is enough quality to win a cup this season. Who knows with the FA Cup, but there is certainly little to fear in the Europa

The magic of the Cup. What a match. Have to feel that if VAR was used today it would have taken the excitement out of a classic.

Brailsford was unlikeble when in charge of Team Sky cycling team. Removed public access to the riders at the races. Sold a nonsense around 'marginal gains'. Ineos brought nothin to Nice in France. Never mind what Ineos have done to the environment. Manchester Utd and Ineos will never be a good fit
