For sure. It's not an unheard of situation but this is the first time in, I think, nearly 40 years that they've had to work around a main member of the team leaving suddenly.

I guess we'll get an idea what's happening next week seeing as that was meant to be a Sumino focused episode. Of course, they could have saved this whole mess if they had just helped her more.

Saw some talk that they've had to call the cast back and are reshooting everything that's left to go. Apparently toei are wanting to bill the talent agency for it and are severing ties with them. Might all be rumours though. If they do sever ties that's at least one positive.

Obviously the actual of editing her out is a bad job to have, do not envy the shows editors, probably felt bad. But if you hadn't seen the show you'd probably only notice once gozyu unicorn is there during the fights.

One thing that'll be fun on this show is that every one of the joined characters will have to be depicted as extremely competent at everything. The show will have to be written in a way that none of them can make mistakes that aren't character based.

Not sure how wise it is to include chemtrail and RNA elements to the set up, them conspiracy nuts don't need anymore fuel, but it's a darn good sci fi set up. Oh, episode 2 is out as well. Guess I'll watch that.
