I own a TARDIS, but it’s stuck in my garage.
🧶I found a screenshot I took of it. Still can’t find it.

This photo shows the gray swivels compared to the raspberry Chinese ones.

But like I said, sometimes it comes with cables that are thicker (you never know). You can see how this light purple is pretty much comparable to the Chiaogoo red originals.

I’ve been buying cheap Chinese ones lately and love them. The joins are actually more dependable than the lantern moon cables. And they have swivel steel cables like chiaogoo. And definitely a better color selection.

I just feel bad for anyone who spends this much on the exact set I got for less than $30 on temu.

🧶wanna laugh? Go to Amazon and search for interchangeable knitting needles then have it sort from high to low price. Gaze upon the generic $570 needles! They look like Lykke knock offs.

Here’s what it’s supposed end as.

The 2X is six across.
God I’m terrible at math. I think I have math dyslexia.
Thank you again.

🧶 The front starts w/ 11 stitches, back 13.

row 1 : where you have 2 increases in the front, and two in back.
R2-3 repeat row 1.

Then there is 3 rows of garter, where on the purl rows, you add 2st in front, 2 increases back. No more garter inc @ R63

And then the rest follow the Fibonacci sequence

🧶HELP KNITTERS!

I’m banging my head metaphorically onto some math that isn’t mathing! Can anyone help me?

I’m making a sweater. It grows in the front and back, but the way it’s written (from a designer that’s damn near flawless, so it has to be me) doesn’t add up.

🧶 Anxiety ensues. Every round had me staring at the tiny balls begging them to somehow get bigger.

But I finished, w/ just a few meters or so left.
Yay me!

I went to put the scrap in the Green DK cubby.

SITTING ON TOP is a hank of Bud green! She had checked the Green Fingering cubby!

He could have gotten into epigenetics, but no, he spouted this crap instead.

I hate it when a “hard sci-fi” author writes this kinda crap. Evolution does not have a pinnacle to strive towards, merely survival in its current environment. If I hadn’t already invested 12+ hours I would just stop reading.

Every inflatable frog listed on Amazon warns you that you won’t get it before Halloween. Will there be a sea of frogs for #nokings ?

🧶My yarn is super thick! And I’m considering starting over because those M1 after a purl row are really getting to me. You don’t noticed when it’s relaxed, but when it stretches out from the weight - boom four slashes!
July 1, 2025 at 8:49 PM
🧶Anyway, this is my progress. I look forward to seeing yours in the alpaca and merino. Hope the fuzziness makes those holes not appear.
June 30, 2025 at 9:49 PM
🧶I like the pattern. But they have us doing those K2, M1 on round 12 right after a purl row, which makes the increases super noticeable. So I’m doing them one round later.
June 30, 2025 at 9:49 PM
🧶It turns out that yarn was Blue Moon Fibers. Whoops.😅 I don’t know about you but I’m getting holes where you Bind Off and Cast on (R12)
I thought I had a fix for it, but doing the first CO as a knitted rather than tubular, then do the rest tubular, but when I did it again I still got those holes.
June 30, 2025 at 9:49 PM
One other annoyance I had, see those three odd looking stitches? That’s what happened when I did the K2, M1 repeats . Since the last row had purls, it shows up like that, so I do those increases in the next row instead, it looks cleaner.

This big bill is gonna raise your electric bill, folks.

Electricity price increase by 2029 if ITC and PTC tax credits are phased out

🧶Truly enjoying this brioche cowl knit by Liz Corke. The increases and decreases happen in the light color as well as the dark. (I went with a different cast on than the one listed) And I like her charting! I would go so far as to say it might be superior to Nancy Marchant’s. #knitsky

🧶 did someone say cowls?

🧶My current WIP happened because I was determined to learn to knit backwards - an Entrelac shawl.
And yes, learning to knit backwards is worth it! Having to turn your work over and over and over can make it a drag.
