Legit, some of my fave things to paint are snow/winter pictures. There's a subtlety to shadows and highlights that takes getting used to, but I adore it too :)

I love our heavy winters here, but they can drag on too long and grow tiresome when you have to constantly have to dig the vehicle out to go anywhere, for sure. I'm not sure I could live somewhere without such winters though, so I guess it's just part of it
