This is one of my favourite books published in 1936, amidst the rise of fascism in Germany and Spain. Both Hitler and Franco banned and burned it, calling it “degenerate propaganda.” Not surprisingly it’s even rumoured to have been one of Mahatma Gandhi’s favourite books! #pacifist #ExploringCQ
