The Hiroshige exhibition at the British Museum was the highlight, but also had lunch out, consumed lots of sweet iced coffee products, and played a few games in the arcade in central London! A very pleasing day 😊

These weren't strictly in order, but Self Esteem is my number one. Even if you're not sure about her music, the staging and everyone's performances are phenomenal. The most varied and theatrical show I've seen at a festival!

@alanfricker.bsky.social Just remembered I photographed office canteen lunches on Wed to show you the double carbs! J managed a rare triple 🥇

The UK AIDS Memorial Quilt is on display in Tate Modern until Monday. Beautiful, powerful and sad. Most panels were for people dying in the 1990s, a reminder how people in my lifetime were stigmatised for their illness, and research into the disease not prioritised as a result.

Returned to my happy place this evening: seeing Self Esteem live (short acoustic set with a lovely crowd in Kingston in this case)

Delighted with this once I looked up the meaning. Before that I thought I was being insulted

Made chocolate and clementine porridge and I commend it to you all:
- cook porridge
- stir in 1tsp chia seeds, a chopped clementine (that soft one in the fruit bowl is perfect) and a couple of squares of dark chocolate
- top with segments of another clementine and 1tsp toasted flaked almonds

Spearmint gig lived up to expectations of course, even though we only got one each of our picks ✨️

Live music is so great. Had a fab time seeing Liz Lawrence at Scala earlier this week. Next week I get to see one of my all time faves Spearmint, who I've been watching live for coming on 25 years (😱). Can't beat it 💕
