I bought an iFi Go Blue Air to use with my in-ears; I am *shocked* at how much better the sound is than using a DAC dongle.

In today's Fountain Pen News, I have had to modify yet another Parker to seal up the lid vents so the pen does not dry out in 20 minutes in my pocket.

Amazon Prime movies are getting more and more irritating, with 9 minutes total of adverts with the first 15 minutes of this movie. Not impressed and not renewing.

On the way on the train and someone had propped a folded-up Brompton against the offside door in this carriage. At Loughborough Junction that door opens and the folded-up bike falls out onto the platform. The owner doesn’t notice until the train is leaving and he goes past his own bike…

One of the problems around the criticism of the BBC is that individual issues are used to attack the corporation as a whole and but extension everything it does. However it must be borne in mind that the vast majority of what it does is very important and to destroy that work for1/2

I really love that KGUMusic, a Ukrainian company, puts notes on their valve oil about what to do if it freezes. 🤣

Yay. Trumpet disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, dried and reassembled with clean lubricants and all seems well. The recent difficulties have been resolved by washing out the lint/fluff that somehow got into the 3/2rd valve crossover.
Normal service resumed.
